Recently we have executed various projects, in some cases flexibility was required. A request from Egypt ended up in putting an mechanical supervisor / technical field advisor on a plane swiftly and corona proof. For the relevant employee it was also a pleasant experience again, where due to the covid-19 crisis multiple projects abroad were postponed or cancelled.
It also works the other way around, a customer was not able to send her mechanics to the Netherlands due to covid-19 travel restrictions. Therefore we were asked to deploy a project team of 4 engineers for the upcoming week. Our scope was dismantling and re-install large blockvalves and control valves, as part of a steamturbine overhaul. During the 5 weeks of work, we have switched back and forth between regular shift and day/night shift, perfectly adjusted on the work to be done and material supply.
